Abstract

A case of the rectal leiomyoma diagnosed by the pathologic examination and treated by local excision with good result at 1st Army Hospital is reported.
A short review of the literature regarding incidence, symptoms and signs, diagnostic means, pathologic findings and prognosis of the rectal leiomyoma is included.
